Canyoning Training

At Canigou Outdoor, we do a lot of canyoning. And we love sharing our passion with you. That's why we offer canyoning courses in collaboration with the Dutch Canyoning Federation.

You can take the following modules with us:

Canyoneer module 1 (5 days)
Canyoneer module 2 (5 days)
Canyoneer module 3 (5 days)
Advanced canyoning module 4 (7 days)

Guide module 1 (5 days)

Canigou Canyoning

Canigou Outdoor organizes a Canyoning Meeting every year. This meeting is for anyone who enjoys canyoning with others. Fun and camaraderie are the top priorities. You must be completely self-sufficient in the canyon. You can demonstrate this with your logbook, canyoning level, or by completing a module at Canigou Outdoor. You'll be traveling with other canyoneers; there will be no guides. Canigou Outdoor simply acts as a bridge between canyoneers for a fun week of canyoning.

During a meeting we arrange:

  • The stay (costs are shared among each other)

  • Any additions to your equipment? You can rent it. (Send us an email.)


During a meeting you arrange:

  • Your own canyoning equipment. If you need anything, you can rent it from us.

  • Transportation to and during your stay

  • Your insurance

Canyoning Training Days in the Netherlands

Would you like to hone your skills or get acquainted with canyoning? Then join us for a training day with us or the Dutch Canyoning Association. On a training day, we create different groups, and under the guidance of an instructor, you can learn new skills or practice what you've learned. You don't need any experience to participate in a training day.

TRAINING IN WINTER?

Come to our training days!

Every winter, Canigou Outdoor organizes several open training days. Everyone is welcome on these days. It doesn't matter if you've never been to the canyon and just want to see if the sport is for you, or if you're already a guide and want to practice super-difficult rescues. There's something for everyone.

FREE CANYONING WITH FAMILY OR FRIENDS?

Want to spend a few days exploring unique canyons with your friends or family? Now's your chance!
We'll be offering guiding courses again soon. Under the guidance of a trainee guide, you'll enjoy fun tours of the surrounding area. While the trainee guide practices everything you need to know as a canyon guide, you'll enjoy the beautiful scenery, perfect slides, and impressive jumps. Naturally, under the supervision of an experienced canyon guide. During the canyoning activities, there's also plenty of time to enjoy everything the mountains have to offer. When?
